About Luana
Hello, I’m Luana, better known as Lua. As my name suggests (Lua means "moon" in Portuguese), I have a deep love for the moon and its quiet magic. Born on Halloween in São Paulo, Brazil, I now create unique fashion pieces in Dublin, Ireland.
My journey into fashion began in 2017 with a passion for drawing. Encouraged by my cousin, I created my first dress and discovered a love for sewing. Initially, I specialized in vibrant rave outfits in Brazil. Seeking new experiences, I moved to Europe to study English, arriving in Dublin at the onset of the pandemic. During those challenging times, I turned to embroidery to stay connected with my art again.
I started my Instagram page during the pandemic and gradually built connections, partly through my work as a Nail Artist. When my friends gifted me a pink sewing machine, I decided to rent a space where I could focus on both fashion and nail artistry, which I continue to do today.
In Dublin, I’ve embraced the opportunity to create a wide range of unique, conceptual designs. Festival clothing remains my true passion, so if you’re looking for something distinctive and imaginative for your next event, you’re in the right place. It would be a pleasure to craft something special for you.
